taking notice of the last few years is pretty much a given. They can even look through public records to see the books, dollar for dollar.

Sadly, one of the many deciding factors on Bonfire returning to campus on considerably good conditions is going to be money. If the event can sustain itself that will be a slightly good point. If there is the possibilty of a profit coming in, that will be a big plus. If they see that it is going to cost more than it brings in, that will be a mark against.

However, keep in mind there are some big donors out there that may at least threaten to reserve their generosity if it may help a character building tradition. Those things will be factored in too.

If Bonfire helped unite students, it automatically helped unite former students as well.

Tonight was incredible.. thanks to all the parents, alum, friends, etc. who watched Burn.

And while we had to turn away people due to no parking, I guess that's kind of a good sign as well.

I applaud the students who build it.

However, I almost drove over from Temple alone, female, and grandmother in age, to see it like I have others.

I would have been more than upset to be turned away.

Kids, you REALLY need to put some emphasis on event planning.

Not a slam, but there needs to be a better system to get people to burn and get them away.

I'll second 3-G-Agg. I parked onsite, but a lot of our crew didn't make it out in time for that. Within minutes of lighting we heard rumors there were as many people at the parking lot waiting as were already at site, an awesome thought but a nightmare I'm sure for those waiting. Not long after, the line for the bus stretched several hundred feet and a good 2-3 hour wait. I'm curious if the other direction of pin oak road could be used in the future for offsite parking. Events were great though, awesome night all in all.
