To attempt to quickly clear up the "confusion":

the old line did not smile upon OC until 2006. According to the greypots in 2005, OC earned a yellowpot, however, the line was not brought back until the next year. It was a purgatory kind of thing.

That's not entirely true. The "old line smiled upon" them well before that. In fact, the Hogs were told several times how they were living up to everything the old Hogs would be proud of.

However, we were told by a certain ego that we were not needed/wanted and so began to fade away from the new group to let them form on their own. At the end of 2005, Tom and I were approached by several members of the crew mentioning that they were not happy with the situation, wanted to reconnect, and that the entire crew supported it. So the old guys were reengaged and the rest is history.

That's all I am getting into here. If you just want to promote drama, personal differences, and personality clashes on an open forum for the sake of entertainment, find someone else to do it.

The only thing missing from the Hogs page is the Jew Pot line.

maybe that was a misleading choice of words. The old guys liked the new guys even before 2005, but the lines did not actually connect until 2006.

I asked last year's OC yellow and chiefs about her at the chicken, and they didn't take it to good.

If it was easy, everybody would use good grammar. But it ain't.

I hope the old guys use all their wisdom to keep this safe from here until forever. I've come to terms that there is going to be a student run bonfire and think it is amazing that some people were able to get it off the ground again after everything that happened.

But again, little changes done every year to make it "better" is what led to the accident so there needs to be someone who will be around for the next 20 years to make sure those little changes don't happen again. Watch out for the culture that comes so easily to people about being invincible and it won't happen to me. Watch out for the culture of not being open to listening to things because they don't know what they are talking about.

Just be careful, I know that I have guilt because I "mentored" someone who is deceased. Knowing that it is no one's fault, it was just a lot of errors doesn't take away that feeling.

I dunno Lew. Perhaps the Jew Pot Line faded before but its back in action as of '07. You should come out sometime Lew. Would love to meet the original Jew.

I hope to make it to Cut sometime soonish. Though if I go I refuse to lift anything heavier than a powdered sugar doughnut.
