Just got in from attending the Comal County A&M Club bonfire with the family. There weren't as many people this year (I don't think word was spread quite as effectively) but I'd estimate the turnout at 150 or so. I saw some folks from the San Antonio A&M club in attendance. The fajitas were good. Lots of little Ags running around.



It was a little thing, obviously, but it served to remind everyone in attendance how much we miss the real Bonfire. Everyone wants it back. Nobody really believes the university administration will ever let that happen. Which, as they say, sucks. So to the students that build Student Bonfire every year, keep up the good work. It'll die out completely without you.

On the bright side, I was able to actually understand the words to The Last Corps Trip when that poem was recited, without all the slurred speech that usually accompanies it...
