In the past, I've fallen down a rabbit hole on YT looking up these men.

There's a video on Johnny Ringo as the most interesting outlaw in the West, but reading his Wikipedia page is more interesting..

However, CBS ran a TV show called Johnny Ringo where he's kind of a good guy.

It was created by Aaron Spelling, and James Coburn is in it.

There are aspects of it that remind me of what Rustler's Rhapsody was spoofing.

1. Yes the obvious is that doc was wearing a badge and he was by no means a law abiding citizen. Also going back further Wyatt came to doc for advice on what he should do with Ringo, and doc informed him that Ringo couldn't be killed because a man like him Was just angry.. just angry for being born.

I think Doc laughs when he sees his toes because it was most commonly said that cowboys died in their boots during these times.

Apparently I've been getting Doc's most famous quote "I'm your huckleberry" wrong all these years. Heard this weekend it's actually "huckle bearer". The huckle is what they called the handles on a casket back in the day, so it make sense. Say it quick enough or with an accent and it comes out huckleberry.

Except this isn't true. Kilmer said Huckleberry, and has confirmed it numerous times over the years.
