Scene: In the office olympics, when Jim gives Michael a gold medal and Michael, Dwight, and Jim stand on the pedestals for the national anthem.

Runner up: Movie Mondays featuring Varsity Blues

Episode: Casino Night- funny throughout, shocking that Jim laid it out there for Pam...twice!, and one of the best written/acted episodes of the series.

Runners up: Conflict Management, A Benihana Christmas, Performance Review, The Fire, Christmas Party

I love the opening of episode 17 in Season 2 when Michael and Dwight are throwing the football in the office. Michael is acting like an idiot, and Dwight makes some really funny faces. Michael does a REALLY crappy Heisman pose, and when he asks Dwight what corporate will say about something, Dwight says, "They will either say yes... OR NO." Then Michael hits Jim's desk with the ball, it ends up in Ryan's hands, and Dwight tackles Ryan. Finally, Dwight flattens an unexpecting Stanley for absolutely no reason. This scene makes me die laughing no matter how many times I've seen it.

But, it is really hard to narrow down the list because there are so many funny parts of The Office. I love that show so much.

Diversity Day:

quote:
Michael: Man, I should have gotten some food.
Kevin: (with "Italian" index card still stuck to his forehead) Maybe-a some spaghetti?
Michael: Okay, Kevin, you can take off that thing, okay? (Kevin looks around guiltily, taking off card) That would really, really have shown him up, wouldn't it? If I'd brought in some burritos or some colored greens or some pad Thai, love pad Thai...
Stanley: It's collard greens.
Michael: What?
Stanley: It's collard greens.
Michael: Uh, that doesn't really make sense, cause you don't call them "collard people." That's offensive.

quote:
(Michael does not know the name of the black instructor)
Michael: Mr... um...
Mr Brown: Mr Brown.
Michael: Ah, aaalright, okay. First test! I will not call you that.
Mr Brown: Well, it's my name, it's not a test, okay?

quote:
Dwight: Shalom, I'd like to apply for a loan.
Pam: That's nice, Dwight.
Dwight: Okay, do me. Something stereotypical so I can get it really quick.
Pam: Okay, I like your food.
Dwight: Uh, Outback Steakhouse, I'm Australian, mate!
Michael: Pam, come on! "I like your food?" No, come on... stir the pot. Stir the melting pot, Pam! Let's do it, let's get ugly, let's get real.
Pam: OK, if I have to do this, based on stereotypes that are totally untrue, that i do not agree with, you would maybe not be a very good driver.
Dwight: (shocked) Aw man, am I a woman?!

quote:
Mr. Brown: Now this is a simple acronym: H.E.R.O. At Diversity Today, we believe it's very easy to be a hero. All you need are: Honesty, Empathy, Respect and Open-mindedness.
Dwight: Excuse me, I'm sorry, but that's not all it takes to be a hero.
Mr. Brown: Oh great, well what is a hero to you?
Dwight: A hero kills people, people that wish him harm. A hero is part human and part supernatural. A hero is born out of a childhood trauma or out of a disaster and must be avenged.
Mr. Brown: Uh, okay, you're thinking of a superhero.

quote:
Michael: (to Toby) No, this is not a joke, okay? That was offensive and lame. So double offensive. This is an environment of welcoming and you should just get the hell outta here.

Favorite episode: Drug Testing

The whole Alicia Keys concert thing is hilarious while Michael retells what happened there.

I liked the "Bring your kid to work" episode; Stanley goes off on Ryan for talking to his 14y/o daughter. That was funny. I love Stanley and his cross-word puzzles.

Hardest I've Laughed: When Dwight took the stage at the Regional Convention. This scene caught me completely off guard. I was expecting something great, but I underestimated Dwight. The fist pounding and the seriousness...oh my God...I was in an airport watching it on my iPod with tears streaming down my face. A lot of people turned around to look at me. Every thing he said and the timing of his random fist pounding and raising his arms in the air...Funniest moment in the show to me...

"Blood alone moves the wheels of History!!!"

Runners Up:

Basketball Game - The first episode I ever watched

Sales Call - Jim slapping Dwight

Pilot - Dwight smashing down Jim's Pencil Fence with his phone

The Fire - Dwight singing "Ryan Started the Fire"

Anytime Michael says, "Me so Horny" or "That's what she said"

Office Closing - Andy starting the chant of "Stam-ford Conn-ect-i-cut, clap clap clap-clap-clap"

Jim's Future Dwight Fax and CIA Prank

and many more that I can't think of...
This show is the only show I watch currently on TV.

I have to agree the Bushiest Beaver award was hilarious.

So many others as well. I loved the diversity training episode, and casino night, and gaydar.

But I think the funniest episode was last weeks. The one with Dwight at Staples; I thought the cell phone in the ceiling joke was pure greatness. I was cracking up the whole time.

For me, it is easily Conflict Resolution, when Dwight finds out that they have been stashing all of his complaints. Then Jim starts talking about all the pranks he's pulled. My favorite was putting the nickels in Dwight's headset.
