5th Ward, Houston is the deadliest...

i was at northwest mall and they sell a couple variations of 5th ward t-shirts even though the mall is closer to the heights than any of the wards since 5th Ward is known as the "Bloody Nickel" they had a t-shirt with a huge nickel drawn on it and Thomas Jefferson was shedding a tear of blood. Said "Bloody Nickel, 5th Ward Texas"...if its still there next time im buyin it

bootlegging is buying a pirated copy or pirating for yourself.

even though im not the biggest fan of Jay-Z (he's got a very annoyin sound imo) i may have considered purchasing had he not completely gone cheesy with his single "show me what you got" that they air as a budweiser commercial nowadays. horrrrrrrrrible song...what was he thinking? also, you cant make a big deal and say youre gonna retire just to sell more of your "black album" and then come out about a year later and drop another album...thats not street.

You see him on MNF last night? He went omnipresent with his marketing for this album. Dude is everywhere.

It actually is pretty "street." Probably the best marketer since Master P. Retiring is the next best thing to being murdered in terms of rap records. Plus, that album opened the door for a lot of people (surprisingly). I can't knock his hustle.
