im sure some of you have already seen this, but to my knowledge has not been posted here yet, and i just heard of this movie coming out in September. based on a true story about the coast guard, starring Ashton Kutcher and kevin Costner. i watched the trailer thinking it might be cheesy, but it looks pretty damn good. and from what little i have heard about it, very realistic and true to actual events.

I saw the preview about a week or so ago in the theatre and thought it looked potentially very good. But I think I like Costner more than a lot of other people do.

Saw a preview for it at the theater recently....looks good, kinda like a Coast Guard "Top Gun"

My first thought when I heard The Guardian starring Kevin Costner was, The Bodyguard II? Do we really need a sequel to that?

But I saw the preview and it looks really good, will definatly check it out.

I had never heard of it until I saw the preview before "Pirates."

I thought it looked pretty good until the end. It looks like it's falling into the standard "rookie gets into a life-threatening situation and the seasoned veteran must strap on the gear and lead the rescue while the rookie fights to stay alive" type ending.

I'll still probably see it, though. Unlike most of America these days, I still like Costner movies.

It's gonna be a real stretch to take Ashton Kutcher seriously.
