If cruise really was still the big money star that he used to be do you really think it would be up for an award and be re-airing??? Love the episode and all, but I do have to wonder what would happen if he was still an "A lister"

In the paper I read that the reason it was pulled in the first place was because Viacom, who owns Comedy Central, also owns the studio that put put out MI3.

That's correct, and the original rerun date was during the promotional push for MI3 and Cruise supposedly said he wouldn't promote the movie if the episode was aired.

Nothing from the past two seasons can even touch seasons 6-8. The scientology episode was stupid.

I loved the Mormon episode, any one know when they might reair that one....Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb......

Scientology episode was greatness simply based on their depiction of Xenu (and the way he laughs like Jabba).

So I finally watched this tonight. First episode of South Park I've seen all the way through in several years. When the show first came out, I never missed it. As time went on, I grew tired of it and didn't really find it all that funny. This episode made me glad I did stop watching the show. Yeah, it makes fun of the ******bag scientologists, but it wasn't funny. It was actually quite horrible. I don't see what all the commotion was about. The episode was retarded.

The episodes of southpark that are aired now make me sad. The group of kids watching the show now have no idea how great the show was...I imagine most of them never saw the "Jesus vs. Santa" short on the net. I do not know how many times I watched that my freshman year. Pure greatness.

i don't think the Cruise rumor was ever substantiated.
