Not to spoil the ending of Sugarland Express but our own Bob Wiatt (retired TAMU police chief) was directly involved in the ending of the Sugarland Express in real life. Watch the movie and we can explain later...
Ok, it's official. I've seen The Sugarland Express. Pretty good film.
Amazing how much things have changed landscape wise. I live in Richmond (right around the corner from Sugar Land).
I wonder how much of the movie really followed the actual events? Seemed as though the kidnapped cop seem to be pretty buddy-buddy with those two, not at all worried about his life.
I like a lot of Spielberg's films, but am I the only one who thought Munich was a little bit too long. I thought it started out good, but by the end, I just kept wondering when it was going to end.

I agree with you, Munich was a good film, but I don't have any desire to see it again. I buy alot of Spielberg's movies on DVD, but I won't Munich. It is still worth seeing though, even with it slightly dragging toward the end.
Big fan of Munich but I too will agree that the end did somewhat drag. However, most of the scense in the end were necessary to complete character development and really display what Bana went through during his time as the leader of that group of men.
Another vote in favor of Hook! Keeps me on my guard about not "growing up" too much and keeping at least some of my youth in this middle aged boy that I am.
