She does look a lot like her. Though she doesn't have the same vibe. I like athletic chicks--but ones with some shape. And that Juno chick had it.

I read briefly somewhere that the ending in the american version was different...anyone have a link for that?

From what I understand, in the UK version it doesn't stop with the shot of Juno's ghost. After that she wakes up and realizes she's still in the cave and sees a hallucination of her daughter and a birthday cake in front of her. The movie ends with her in that hallucination and the crawlers creeping up on her.

Agree, I like that ending much better. WTF?

Good movie, better than my expectations going in.
It did reaffirm that I would rather be set afire or drown than get stuck in a small crevice hundreds of feet below the surface slowly dying in the pitch black. But then again, I also fear washing dishes. Not the act, per say, just slipping on a wet kitchen floor and impaling myself with a knife haphazardly tossed pointed end up in the utensil basket of an open dishwasher.

I enjoyed the movie, but I didn't think it was scary. Much like Alien, I thought it was thrilling, but after seeing the creatures a couple of times, I just didn't think they were that scary. The whole "being trapped in pitch black" thing was just as spooky.

Alternate ending aside, I think the point of the last shot is maybe to show that the main character will continue dealing with some messed up stuff for herself.

Also, the ending was prototypical 2000's era horror. I feel like most scary movies from that time period ended on a note just like this one.
