I've only recently watched a few episodes. Is it really a reality show? The cameras/mics/crew seem too good for reality, but the dialogue -- while it seems directed -- is very natural. What gives?

did you know that kristin was supposedly boinking matt leinart last winter/spring? i mean, she's hot and all...but it's matt leinart. he should have gone for lc.

dan i never saw the show until last week and i just don't see how it can be real. the dialogue and the camera work all seems to be too good. i figure its much the same as the stupid paris show where they reshoot things that happen and redialogue events.

Man, I can't agree with you more. Lo is VERY underrated. She's so cute and she has that friendly, bubbly personality. I heard the rumor about Leinart as well. I thought it was hilarious last night when Kristin was talking to her buddy:

Friend: So, are you dating anyone?
Kristin: I've been seeing this guy Matt... up at USC

"This guy"???? are you serious?

Redshirt, that's similar to the theory my girlfriend has. She thinks it's re-enactments of reality. Know any place to find out for sure?

yeah, the camera work is too good to be reality. obviously there is some sort of scripting on this.

my opinion of leinart took a tumble after confirming their "relationship." my guess is that he blew her back out at some party and kristin talked it up to her friends. i doubt the guy ever thought twice about her.

I can't stand Kristin. LC is hot. The show is so bad, yet I can't stop watching. If someone decided to kill Stephen, that would be fine by me.

LC is the hottest....Lo is way overlooked..where is she at for college...they have told damn near everyone else but for Lo?

I would have gone nutz at that HS in that town...how awesome would it be. I don't care if the show is "fake" or "real".....it's a cool place to grow up.

youth movement? i also saw an interview where he "explains his armband." he wears it to demsonstrate his political activism and wants it to be a standard issue sign of conversation about current events. i believe his words were " when i walk into a party and i see someone else with the armband on, i know i can say 'hey, did you read about that act that got passed through congress? oh, no, well let me tell you about it.

i haven't cared about a show this much since wilford brimley dawned the engineer cap in the much acclaimed series "our house."

The only episode of that show I can recall is one where the kids were in some sort of band, and they sang Mony Mony. Wasn't Shannen Doherty on it?

very entertaining, insightful, and interesting watching brimley fight tooth and nail to get his daughter every opportunity to go the AFA.

i've had a few dreams where wilford brimley comes into my room without saying a word and beats the **** out of me. pretty disturbing.

These were exactly the type of kids I couldn't stand in high school, no way I'm devoting my time to watching this.

I can't beleive that I actually can say I watched the show. After reading about it on here I decided to sit down and take it in. After Watching the show I can now say that I hate rich stuck up people. Oh and yea LC is absolutly fine. But it has to be staged because it really all makes no since. It reminds me of a show Mtv did a few years back called Undressed.

laguna is much much better than undressed, which i never actually watched an entire episode of.

laguna's people are hotter and truthfully, these kids are no more stuck up than most of my friends in college.

The show is just downright hilarious. I'm not real sure about how they tape it all but it seems that the stuff that goes on is real.

Maybe they did audtion for this show. California is the land of Beautiful people and I been to place called Hondo Texas where the majority of girls there would rival any girl on Laguna Beach

i watched this show with my sister last week, and i felt as though my IQ dropped at least five points.

lo is a moron...definitely a hit it/quit it type of girl...LC is the best by far..ok by a little bit

After looking through the album with a friend, we found that Lo refers to herself as "Rayne", calls LC "Kaley", Dieter "Marc" and Morgan "Chris".

I was saddened to find out they have fake names.
