Thoughts on the upcoming movie? Same production company that did LOTR is producing this. The director is a guy that did Shrek II. So..... will they screw this up or will it be another LOTR?

Personally, I'm excited. Read all these books as a kid. I hope they don't suck.

i think it looks neat. just re-read lion, witch, and wardrobe, seems as if it should make for a good fantasy film.

The one good thing about that entire series of books is that they all have a simple enough storyline that they can be made into movies without having to alter the storyline or cut to much from it.

Hopefully this one will do well and they can make the other ones into movies as well.

I haven't read that book in ages but remember that it was really short and simple. To the point where can they really get 90 minutes out of it?

I would think that a shorter book would allow the screenwriters to remain more faithful to the story. This way they don't have to leave anything out.

Uh, nevermind I just saw the trailer from apple.com. I think it will do just fine. In fact, it just jumped towards the top of my must see films this year.

I saw the preview at the theatre and it looks really good. I got goosebumps seeing Aslan roaring on the mountain.

FYI, barnes and noble carries a complete and unabridged "Chronicles of Narnia" in one volume. I think I paid less than $20.

I went out and got the whole series in one book at Hastings. Then my damn dog ate the book. Oh well, gives me an excuse to go back to Hastings.
