How long do you want to ignore this user?
I watched it last night, and honestly, I didn't expect to end the way it did. I can't decide if I liked it or not.

It was a true story. How were you expecting it to end?

Movie totally sucked except for the nudity.

i actually liked the movie. based on a true story, but some people who know/knew that couple also reportedly said they hoaxed their own disappearance because of some financial problems or something.

That's funny, I felt the EXACT same way. It was definitely unique, and I'm pretty sure it was good, but still not 100% sure I liked it. But I think I did.

If by "true story", you really mean, "there have been people that were diving and there boat left them and they died", then I guess you might be right. That's about the only connection that it has with the truth.

Here's a link for you.

quote:
Inflatable dive jackets marked with Tom and Eileen's names were later washed ashore north of Port Douglas, along with their tanks - still buoyed up by a few remnants of air - and one of Eileen's fins. None showed any signs of the damage you would expect from a violent end, suggesting that the couple were not the victim of a shark attack, as the film suggests.

That movie had the most gratuitous nude scene I've ever seen. Seriously, I feel like they put that in just to make sure they got an R Rating.

Yeah, I almost laughed. If I wanted to see that, I'd just go find some porn. I mean, it's not that it was just nudity, it that it was just so random. She just turned over and there it all was, bam. Well, you just popped right out there, didn't you? I'm not married so I don't know, maybe people normally read for leisure in the nude. *shrug*

But then again, were they even married? I remember thinking that they almost suggested that they weren't, or maybe just didn't mention it.

Yes, it is very strange for someone to be naked in bed. It would be much more realistic if she were wearing old school Mary Tyler Moore pajamas.

That movie sucked balls. Biggest waste of $7.00 ever.

i think the movie is "good" in that it is well done. however, about halfway through it, i found out how it ends...i wasn't in the mood to sit through the rest of it and have it end that way, so i just left.
