Anybody know of any good new rock bands? By "good" I mean that they are accomplished musicians, the vocalist is a strong SINGER, and they RAWK rather than merely "rock".

I'll throw out a few that I like - Shinedown, Silvertide, Brand New Sin. Any others?

played a show with these guys last month... totally incredible live performance, most diverse band I've ever seen that was THAT good, the are from DC

They are too good and diverse to fit into the little box a major label would want them to fit in, but I do hope they make it somehow.

I don't listen to many new bands (I listen mostly to Rush, Symphony X and Dream Theater) BUT I do like Black Label Society, Zack Wylde is in it.

Captain Radical: I already have every BLS album. They're great. I was thinking newer than that - like bands who just put out their first or second album.
