agreed, their show i saw in austin was great. But I'm sure welker is still grooving to "Mambo No. 5" and the "thong song" to bother with any other music.

I'm hardly the biggest Chris Cornell fan in the world (because he's such a left winger), but I gotta admit he can really, really sing. That is an increasingly scarce talent these days.

Soundgarden is/was my favorite band and the solo Chris Cornell cd was amazing!

Wasn't the biggest Rage fan, but thought the combo would work.

I didn't care for the first Audioslave cd, though. Hope this one is a bit better.

Your bleeding heart missed good album, Welker. Those that wrote off the combo of Rage and Cornell before listening to their work missed out.

Cornell is my all-time favorite singer. you can tell his pipes aren't what they were from his years w/soundgarden, but he still is great. anyone who saw soundgarden live can't come away not thinking cornell was a badarse. i was giddy when i heard he was teaming up w/the remnants of rage. great band, they know how to write great songs.

i think cornell is the best rock singer/front man since plant.

Rage was awesome, don't get me wrong, but there was just something about vocals that irked me the wrong way. Love to listen to them, but I do think they improved with Cornell. Dude is a freking badass, haven't heard someone tear up their chords like that since Led Zeppelin
