Jimmy Buffett is a mere crack in the edifice that is American music.
While Willie Nelson is at least a supporting pillar.
Both are entertaining with Buffett being worth a listen and Willie being a living legend.
Saying these two artists are as different as apples and oranges is accurate, except that even making such a comparison implies that they are in some way comparable.
I really like Jimmy Buffett, but he's like Kinky Friedman with a few more career breaks.
