What an incredible book!

I was always under the impression that the flagraising photo at Iwo Jimo was a pose, but the truth comes out in this book.

Soon to be a major motion picture directed by Clint Eastwood and produced by Steven Spielberg.

I agree...an excellent read. I still cringe thinking of the treatment captured Marines received...
