I liked the first one - I give it an 8/10. But, the second one was horrible. Do not waste your time.

The first one was good. 8 or 9 for me. The second one though was not scary and just stupid.

Thanks, the first one was one of the genuinely creepy movies I've seen in years, guess I'll rent the second one - if its even worth that.

I liked the Grudge. I found it extremely scary. Ring 2 did not have a single creepy moment in it. I don't even recommend it for rental. If you have HBO, wait for it then.

both the grudge and ring 2 bit. the new ring tries to change the story of the first one and it just doesn't work. they should have just stopped with the first one, now there is a taint.
