Did he have more than "When A Man Loves A Woman"? I'd bet that he didn't even write that song.

The RR Hall of Fame is ****. The people selecting the acts apparently don't know what rock music actually is.

Didn't the Pretenders get inducted this time? The Pretenders were boring hacks.

Percy Sledge isn't one of my favorites, but that song did originate with him.

The story is that he first ad libbed it live while onstage.

He then refined it later.

I'm not aware of any other really big hits that he ever had besides "Warm and Tender Love" and "TaKe Time To Know Her."

I enjoy Chrissie Hynde & The Pretenders.

I've played "Back On The Chain Gang," "Brass In Pocket" and "My City Was Gone" in cover bands before and I think those are good songs and she sings them well.

Gig 'em, FAST FRED '65.

Before the world wide web, village idiots usually stayed in their own village.
