Yeah, I noticed that too.
She's provided harmony on at least one (for some reason I'm thinking there is another) of his songs.
I saw her sing at Billy Bob's the night of her CD release. She talked about how much she digs the Texas music scene, and all the independent singer/songwriters. Plus she had Cody Canada on stage to sing Mendocino County Line. I guess the Texas guys help give her "street cred".
