Man, there must have been a huge drop off in the number of teams wanting to join. Last year they were done around 12 on the first day.

People must have decided that stepping over human feces and watching terrible music wasn't such a great way to spend a weekend, after all.

You can get drunk at your own house without all the hassle.

They added more team spots this year and made more room in the team areas.

they went from like 220 teams to around 400 or something this year. a huge increase in the number of available teams. kinda makes the camp-out to sign up for spots pointless, but it was sure fun as hell for all of us who spent the afternoon, night, and morning drinking in front of the exchange.
