Those things generally hurt from 20 ft. away square in the back. Any chance he wasn't human? I know the asian cop didn't miss.

Remember in Kill Bill (2?) when Uma asks the asian assassin "You a good shot with that thing?". She responds "Not that I have to be at this range, but yeah...I am."

No way he missed.

Aside from that, there are a lot of things in the movie that don't add up but you can still enjoy it for the entertainment value.

I "saw" that thread and I think it is one of the worst ever devoted to a movie on the entertainment board.

Nice pun. It still was about the movie and could have had specific movie-related info contributed in that thread.

No way he walks around everywhere with kevlar. But despite that, the dood got shot with a shotgun from about 20 ft. He had to have got hit in the head (hard to just get up from a shotgun blast to the head).

I think possibly jigsaw wasn't human.

Maybe he had the regenerative abilities of Wolvering and had his skull replace with kevlar.

I had a friend of mine get shot in the back(about 10-15ft away) by his cousin -- accidentally. He survived with flying colors. He just has hundreds of scars from all the pellets that had to be extracted.

Just from I have learned from playing Halo 2 you have to be pretty close with a shotgun.

If you are point blank it's pretty much a direct kill. But from 20 feet or so it's going to take at least 2 possibly 3 shots to kill somebody.

Did you sleep at a Holiday Inn Express too?

I saw the movie in theaters, but dont remember him getting shot. Was it when they broke into his house?? Also, do you know it hit him?? I was possible I guess that he was shooting a slug (large lead bullet) which would be a lot easier to miss with. If it was a cops shotgun, this wouldnt apply, but depending on the gauge/type of shot, you could definately get shot from that distance and live. I suspect this is what happened to the person who an above poster said got shot in the back. 12 gauge 00 buck would kill you easy from 15 ft.

I think I could be a philanthropist. A kickass philanthropist.

I'm not sure what gauge shotgun it was but...

It looked serious. It was a cops shotgun. I would assumed it was loaded b/c they were chasing the most dangerous man/thing in the city. I'm pretty sure it was a direct hit. 20 feet away, running directly down a narrow hallway (ie jigsaw wasn't darting around, he was running a perfect line). He definitely got hit. However there was no blood anywhere.

*SPOILERS*

I think it hit him because you will notice at the end when he stands up and walks out he is limping and moving very slowly like he was injured.

The biggest plot hole I noticed was how he was able to lie there for eight hours and hide the fact that he was alive. How could they not see him breathing?

Despite that, I enjoyed it.

First,

Shotgun injuries from 20 feet away square in the back generally aren't "limping" injuries.

Second,

The fact that they didn't notice him breathing could lend credence to my theory that he wasn't human.

If you got shot in the back with a shotgun I'm pretty sure you aren't going to walk in your normal gait for a while.

However, this took place five months after he was shot, now that I think about it, so maybe he was just walking weird because his tumor was kicking in or he was stiff from laying motionless on a cement floor all day.

He should have had it loaded with hevishot #5s.

Obviously he had surgery for the brain tumor and had a stainless steel plate installed. This is what deflected the shot.

Still, he would seem much easier to kill than a Sleestack.

I'm talking about 5 seconds after he shot by the shotgun he got up and ran out the building. I am NOT talking about 5 months after.
