Behroos (just thought I'd throw in another spelling of his name) really came through. Dude knew how to use a shovel properly! I'm guessing that in about 4 episodes, he will be trying to get ahold of Jack for protection.

So far, this season is very close to the greatness of the 1st season. Season 2 was good, but not great and season 3 was better than 2. This one is off to a rocking start!

Yes, but he was an idiot for not trying to cover his tracks in anyway at all. He just drops the shovel on the ground and runs. He should have taken the gun and and buried both bodies and then wiped off the shovel.

I thought the same thing Homsar, except that he seems a little younger than Heller's son.

I think that Heller's son is just a brain-washed kid who thinks that, if it's related to the government, it's fascist and evil and therefore he won't cooperate.

He may have said too much to someone (who was trying to get him to have loose lips), but he's too much of an anti-government wacko to do anything that would remotely benefit the government (even if it saved his own father's life).

Watched Monday's episode last night - had to Tivo it. Great as usual. The one thing that made me mad was the commercials for this episode. The last scene in the commercial showed Jack outside the building with Heller. So we already knew before the episode that he would at least get out of the building with him. Please - no more spoilers in the commercials !

maestro, this is 24 you're talking about.......this disaster will be averted, only to find there is yet another ulterior motive to thw whole thing!

That's what I like about this show. It's never one bad guy or one evil plot: there's always someone else behind the curtain.

Well yeah, but if I remember correctly, it's usually the "introductory crisis" followed by the "main crisis." If we have a "small/medium/large" approach, then yeah, that's cool. But still... nuclear powerplants? Pfft.

general rule: don't watch the scenes for the next episode. you'll be a lot happier.

Don't read the episode description on Tivo for two shows forward either. I spoiled myself prior to Monday on the nuclear power plant thing.

i agree with maestro on the nuclear power plant stupidity. it sounds like an idea that they brainstormed in about 5 minutes. over the years this show has hooked me in and then pissed me off with stupid crap like this. first, it was jack's wife being caught and escaping about 20 times in a one day, then it was his daughter being chased by a mountain lion, then it was the dumbass Sherry Palmer side story from last season, now this. i'll keep watching, but i still don't like the idea and hope it heads somewhere better.

Anyone think that Behrooze is going to get props from his creepy father for offing Tariq? Tonight should be great.

I just thought of something. Why would they even allow a personal cell phone in a highly secured govt. facility? A certain major govt. contractor that I work with doesn't allow personal cell phones in their building. Other places I go require you to turn off your cell phones.

They have to allow for certain things since it's tv. No way in hell the mole chick wouldn't have been reported by now in the real world, but that wouldn't make for very interesting tv.

I wonder if they will explain how Tony got there in about 4 minutes. Did he live next door or was he called earlier?

they were in burbank and based on what little I can determine (since the geography on the show is not to scale), CTU seems to be close to there. Its not unreasonable that he might live fairly close to that area. of course, its unreasonable that anyone could find it that quickly, be armed in that time, but again, its not completely unreasonable

Where was Chloe last night?

people were speculating that she was the one Jack trusts most. I've never seen her with a gun, so I really didn't expect him to call her in a gun fight.

i figured the man he could trust the most would be Palmer, but that wouldn't have saved him there either. I thought Tony was in jail anyway-- what happened with that. I kinda wish it'd been chase too

I'm sure tony got pardoned by the pres. before he left office.

So is Chloe going to make a comeback this season or not? I love those quirky-distorted faces she always makes.

jack mentioned that Chase and Kim are living in Valencia- wh/ is just north of much of the area they've been spending so far this season. I have no spoilers to say they will appear, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Don't they know by now that anytime somebody other than Jack goes off with minimal protection and is important, they will die or get kidnapped?

Chloe is back, but 'only for today'. Riiiiiight.

I used to hate Chloe. I really did. But, when she was gone, I missed her. I was glad she came back. I was sad to see crazy eyes Dina die. What a fantastic character and actress. I really hope she gets some award recognition for this role.
