There are not enough words to describe my pure disdain for Clear Channel and their complete and utter destruction and homogenation of music these days. Don't forget to tell them how much you love the dis-service fee on your next Ticket******* purchase. You know how they're "countering" the problem in Houston now??? They're lumping some of the old 101 artists onto other stations, that never played that music before. It's a total cluster. I heard "No More Tears" on 93.7 the CLASSIC ROCK station last night. Wow...OK I'm not THAT old. And I heard "The Unforgiven" by Metallica on 94.5 The Buzz. Yeah, that was in the rotation before. Just awful, like I want to sit through a bunch of sorry ass Yellowcard and whatever other crap band is belting out the latest poppy-punk BS just to hear some black album Metallica. GET A CLUE CLEAR CHANNEL!!! But alas they won't, because they couldn't care less about the content on their radio stations, as long as the biggest money-spending demographic is listening, so that they can sell more ad time and not risk alienating their sheepish fan base and losing revenue. Whatever, I'm going to get Sirius radio so at least I can get Big XII football and I won't be contributing money to XM (guess who one of their *major* stockholder/investors is????).

The online petition is now over 30,000 signatures.

Do I think we'll get 101 back? Probably not.

However, I'm hoping a big public display of outrage will spur the creation of a new rock station by some other opportunistic broadcaster.
