Hobbies - Blacktail studios - high end tables. Good for audio free watching while im at the front desk at our dance studio. When i play the audio, the guy is funny.

Conspiracy Ratholes: The Why Files for SURE. A great great great show. The Basement episodes are good to listen to while doing something else, but regular eps are must watches.
Mr Mythos was also good, but he stopped posting over a year ago. His stuff was meticulously researched.

Religion: Been watching a lot of Josh Howerton, but Ill watch anything that really digs into things

Cooking: Mythical Kitchen, Hot ones

Comedy: Kill Tony, Good Mythical Morning, Ninjas are Butterflies, Theo Von, Dropout shorts, Smosh

If Tony dropped in on a try not to laugh it would end up with cast in tears and angry yelling while Tony says he is an ally, he is gay while giving that **** eating grin of his

The Report of the Week. Scrawny dude that wears old suits and reviews fast food items in depth. Really entertaining stuff and he's given us comedic gold:

Forgot to include Nerd of the Rings. A lot of deep dives into The Lord of the Rings and Tolkein Legendarium. Hypothetical situations like what if Gandalf had the One Ring or what if Sauron got the One Ring back.

Expedition Bible - archeology connected to Biblical history

Bill Federer - history/politics

Sideprojects, Megaprojects, and Warfronts - history with a humorous twist (seems like recent stuff has gotten biased, so not as common lately)

Geeky/Nerdy Hobbies/Interests
  • In Deep Geek - Analysis/Deep Dives on Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings topics
  • Comics Explained - As someone tangentially interested in superheroes but not to the level of actually buying/keeping up with comics, this is a pretty good channel for getting a drive-by on interesting/key storylines
  • The Trinket Mage/Salubrious Snail/Blood Artist/Distraction Makers - Magic the Gathering stuff
  • Videogamedunkey - one of the GOATs of making funny tongue in cheek content on video games
Space Exploration/Astrophysics
  • PBS Space Time - Matt O'Dowd is a really great host and usually has some fun topics
  • Cool Worlds - An astronomer/assistant professor at Columbia University and his team explore the search for alien life, they also have a supplementary channel from a couple years ago that goes deeper into the math
  • Anton Petrov - Another good one for exploring recent discoveries in physics
Sports
  • WoodlandsAggie - Probably an obvious one but the GOAT for watching A&M games
  • Secret Base (particularly Jon Bois vids) - Lots of fun and kind of nerdy stories from the history of sports; rewind series is great but Jon Bois has several long form videos that are almost always excellent - I would recommend his Steve Jeltz video (titled How to Score 10 Runs in the First Inning and Lose) to anyone
  • Basketball VHS Archive/Wilt Chamberlain Archive/Ryan van Dusen - awesome footage of older NBA games and players
  • MaxaMillion711 - The GOAT of NBA highlight tapes
Other
  • Sisyphus55 - laid back channel on philosophical ideas and self-fulfillment
  • h0ser - funny special interest pieces on random geopolitical situations across the world
  • Voices of the Past - Historical interpretations through written letters from the time periods being discussed
  • Smokin & Grillin with AB - Good tips and recipes for your grill
  • AsamaPOV - calming shorts of an American on a trip through Japan who is constantly interacting with local small restaurants and trying their food

I have watched every video put out by Expedition Bible. Really fascinating archeology.

I also watch a fair bit of:

Crazypostman - Reviews and testing of robot lawn mowers and electric vehicles, and occasionally other random stuff.

Bible Animations - Animations that explain stories and other things from the Bible.

And of course WoodlandsAggie - Aggie football videos of full games.

Have you seen 17776 and/or 20020? I think 20020 was officially part of Secret Base but 17776 pre-dates it.

I am convinced Jon Bois is some sort of savant.

I've seen some really well-done AI history videos.

The narration tends to be repetitive and many of the scripts could use a good editor to tighten them up, but the visuals are usually pretty cool. It's clear they are progressing rapidly ... many of these would cost millions of dollars to produce with actors, costumes and sets.

Not sure about the historical accuracy but they are entertaining, nonetheless.

Here's an example.

YouTube does have this. They're called "Playlists", and you can create as many as you want. Just save a video to a playlist.
