Anybody go see it? Based on reviews and what I've read, I will not, but I'm surprised there wasn't a thread yet.

If you go into this movie expecting anything more than that, then yeah you'll think it sucks. See: every uppity movie critic.

Didn't take itself too seriously, fights were cool but too short. Chicks' legs were nice. Tried to do too much between the fighting

I loved it! Definition of a popcorn flick. Im surprised how ballsy they were with the ending. They're expecting a sequel?

It's fun and does not take itself seriously. It's set in the 90s so the soundtrack is pretty solid. They blend in live action with animation (mostly for flashbacks) and I enjoyed that technique.

I need it to be in theaters the first weekend in November. Going to FL and have a night to waste and was planning to go see it then

I went in with low expectations, and wanted a video game style action movie. This thing is a huge POS. The plot is incoherent , even for a video game adaptation. The fight scenes were pretty cool, but THEY SKIPPED HALF OF THE FIGHTS YOU WANTED TO SEE! 3/4 of the tournament happens off screen. I thought casting was pretty great aside from a couple, but it was just...weird. and bad. My son and I were laughing in theatre about how awful it was, but we did watch till the end, so I guess there's that..ha

Agree with this. Also, the transition to the 3rd act felt like I missed 30 minutes of plot somewhere. There was the tournament (kind of) and then...

Several characters wasted.

Editing was a mess. Ken's face was so blown up with steroids, it was nuts. Looked like Carrot Top when he was on the juice.

Dark power is dark because it is dark somehow. But it is power. And dark power. Which is bad. I guess.

My son and I died laughing making fun of the movie afterword.

BUT...I still kind of want to know where they were all heading at the end of the film.

Exactly! Street Fighter 2! Which we all know was revolutionary!

It was craptastic. But more importantly, I'm getting the wife to dress as Chun Li for Halloween while I go as Vega. Should be fun
