Hadn't seen anything about this until recently, but Judd Apatow's Norm Macdonald biography comes out next Friday on Netflix. Looks like they got someone who can do it justice.

I got to see him perform at Carolines in NYC a few years before he died. I fist bumped him after his set and have never washed my hand since.

Finally got around to watching this and while I'm glad I did I'd rather just watch old clips of his stuff. I do appreciate that this really made an effort to show how loved Norm was by other comedians because that's one thing I've always heard about him.

One thing that wasn't there that I wished they'd included was his return to SNL after he got fired. That monologue was classic.

Just watched it. Loved it because it showed me more Norm. Even some I hadn't seen before.

About a third of the way through (as they were getting into the OJ stuff) I wondered if Apatow would dare to broach any of the Hillary jokes that Norm did almost as persistently and as ruthlessly as he did his OJ bit.

Not a peep. Not a one. Apatow didn't learn anything from Norm...

I am honestly pleasantly surprised to hear that Apatow didn't straight up slander him for his political views. Dude has a lot of hate in his heart for his political "enemies". I'll take the W here.
