That generational Toxicity of putting up with Mothers/Mother-in-laws that interject themselves into every aspect of a household with no boundaries whatsoever, is/was promoted on almost every TV show with a dad/husband/father on it.

He is/was too stupid to breathe and she was "in charge". "Keeping the peace" because "they are family" is BS.

The answer to this is Lilith from Cheers then shorter stints on Frasier.

As annoying as Frasier/Niles were, they were written to be obnoxiously pretentious.

Lilith was downright detestable, and Bebe played it perfectly.

I'll never get Jill Taylor hate after all the sht she had to put up with.

I would choose Jill Taylor. She *****ed about everything Tim did. He was the bread winner while she just had a fake and useless degree. And I'm pretty sure she got pretty chummy with another psychology beta male at some point. Tim deserved better…and those kids did too.
