It is well known that Band of Brothers casting came down to Damian Lewis and Ricky Schroder.

Damian was fantastic, but Schroder actually looks more like Dick Winters.

it's a real shame they didn't find another role for Schroder so he could have been in the cast.

I feel like Chris Farley would've taken the role/movie in a little crazier direction. I could see it being a better movie than the original but maybe not lead to all of the sequels, if that makes sense.

Sacha Baron Cohen was originally cast as Freddie Mercury but replaced. Rami Malek was fantastic but I still would have liked to see Cohens take.

Cohen's vision for the film was much closer to reality and involved more drugs, parties, wildness, and everything. Once the band got involved and sanitized the writing he left. Wish the original vision would have been realized.

I like Rockwell a lot but I can't see him playing that level of crazy that Ledger pulled off. And I say that liking the crazy that Rockwell can play.

I have a hard time imagining anyone pulling off the crazy the Ledger did.

That is crazy to hear. Mike Meyers has made upwards of $40 million in salary alone from those movies, plus all the residuals.

I read somewhere that Thomas Jane was the original choice for Don Draper in Mad Men. I'm not sure how that would have gone. I liked Jane in The Expanse, but Jon Hamm did such a great job; I can't imagine anyone else pulling it off.
