I'm going to make the scoring rules a little more operational so the result is consistent: Academy Awards only, inflation-adjusted domestic grosses, and "lead role" means a clear lead/co-lead rather than simply being famous and present. I'll also cap each performer at 40 exactly as you specified.
One wrinkle in your formula is already showing up: it heavily rewards huge ensembles, so movies like Avengers: Endgame and old-school war epics are going to beat films with a smaller but absurdly elite cast. I'm treating that as a feature of your scoring system rather than trying to "correct" it.
I've got a clean way to avoid cameo-gaming: I'm using the film's formal "Starring" billing as the cast pool. That knocks out things like The Player winning just because 30 Oscar winners walk through as themselves, while still rewarding genuinely enormous ensembles.
I also think your scoring system is most naturally interpreted as career-achievement flags rather than points for every occurrence. So, for example, an actor who has ever won Best Actor gets 10; if they've also had a separate Best Actor nomination, they get another 5. Same idea for supporting categories. A qualifying blockbuster/IMDb role triggers that category once. Then the performer is capped at 40.
I screened the obvious giant ensembles plus films that combine unusually deep casts with award/box-office pedigree.

There are a couple of films just outside this first pass that are interesting:
The Thin Red Line has only 11 formally billed stars, but they include Sean Penn, Adrien Brody, George Clooney, Woody Harrelson, John C. Reilly, John Travolta and Nick Nolte.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood similarly has only 11, but DiCaprio + Pitt + Pacino alone are scoring monsters, with Margot Robbie, Austin Butler, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern and Timothy Olyphant behind them.
Valentine's Day is a hilarious dark horse because it officially bills 19 actors, including Kathy Bates, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Shirley MacLaine and Julia Roberts. It probably doesn't quite have enough Oscar/IMDb depth to crack the top group.
And Heat, despite probably feeling like one of the greatest casts ever, suffers from having only 11 billed stars. Pacino and De Niro are nearly maxed-out players, but there's only so much they can do.

I am pulling strictly from memory, so cannot name all the actors, but two quirky old ones that come to mind are Dr. Strangelove, and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

well Dr. Strangelove had 3 roles played by the same legendary actor - but if you count it as 3 then
