This duo kept popping up on my social media feeds. Looked absurd, paid no attention. Then had others tell me I had to check them out. Finally did. Actually kinda blew my mind and really liked it after passing it off as a gimmick. Basically they are part math rock, part microtonal melody, part quirky odd time signatures. Both extremely talented and it shows. Won't be for everyone but there's something about their music that draws you in. I could probably do without their weird fake alien language and antics but it's part of the appeal I guess. And unlike a lot of music today, it's extremely fresh and original.
They just started a US tour and have sold out every show. Playing Stubb's in Austin in October and that show is already pushing $250 to $400 on the second hand market.
