It wasn't a smart movie but I appreciated seeing the characters make smart choices (e.g. food rationing, water conservation, eating the dog, etc.).

Agree with OP. That was the worst movie I've seen in decades. Well, the worst movie that took itself seriously.

Kind of felt like a Temu version of The Happening. Sucks because Wagner Moura is a great actor.

I was gonna say. If you knew going in that it sucks, do you think it'd be fun? Or just a slog?

Fun. Because it's so ridiculous. And the dialog gets cheesier as the movie progresses until you finally reach eye rolling levels at the climactic scene.

Anything w the rock and/or Kevin hart is worse

I actually highly recommend it to everyone, because its so awful, its actually must see. This is the spiritual sequel to the Happening. You could write a book on all the plot holes, and **** that makes zero sense... but ultimately its just a hilariously terrible movie that I can't believe people actually agreed to make.

Like, Battlefield Earth bad? I can watch that all day and laugh.

I think both are solid comedies

lol. I was entertained. So much stupidity and things that wouldn't work or didn't make sense, but it was ok for a weekday movie.
