I just saw this for the first time on twitter. I watched it 4-5 times. Hollywood hit this out of the park!

Had to watch the trailer multiple times to convince myself the actor wasn't actually Stallone. Wow, it looks outstanding! Rocky and Stallone are American icons; I cannot wait for this.

Rocky Balboa is pretty good, too. I think it was what he was trying to accomplish with 5 but blew it.

Yeah, that's a serious error on my part. I got them mixed up. RIP Apollo.

Idk, I always have mixed feelings about the subjects being involved in their own biopics.

Yeah, watching "America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys" was a decent retrospective, but it was amusing in some parts watching Jones try to revise history to favor him. It's like he forgets some of us were there when it happened, and remember the actual events.

Was he intentionally left out or did he choose to not be involved?

He wanted to play himself in the biopic.

I started crying when they played Gonna Fly Now in Creed when Adonis gets up and puts Pretty Ricky on the mat.

Seriously, Rocky prevents World War II, stops Communism, and makes sure all the Russian people get blue jeans and rock'n'roll in one fight.

It was the FInal Countdown/Rocky crossover where they launched him off the aircraft carrier and he flew 6,000 miles in the air and punched Hitler in the face.

I missed the time travel plot line in 4.

My mom loves to tell the story of me being a wee child, not even in school yet, throwing tantrums of us passing movie theaters where the marquee said, "Rocky." I love me some Rocky. And I love Sylvester Stallone. Might as well be 3 years old again because here I am giddy as a little girl waiting for this movie. Heck I may go get my mom to watch it with me.

So now Hollywood is "making movies" about Making Movies?

Still looks good.

I can't wait for " I play Philo Beddoe"

"now"

They've been doing this for a LONG time. No one loves Hollywood like Hollywood.

But, honestly, some of them are great and some suck. I loved The Offer.

Yeah, but this one is inspired by a very real and incredible true story. Sylvester Stallone went all in on himself and it paid off a million times over...if that doesn't pan out he might have ended up working the factories or at Jiffy Lube. Or hustling in the streets.

Thread title made me think this was gonna be a PHM spinoff but this looks even better. Totally in for this.

It just might. You never know what will hit, but I think a positive movie with a message about working hard and not giving up might be what a lot of people need right now. It might have a positive impact on people.
