I heard how good Witness was and it got me to finally watch it...it's a great film and very suspenseful.

I'd also add the original Jaws to this list just to hear/watch Bill to his Quint impression of getting eaten by the shark.

The live episode in Chicago for The Fugitive was a good one.

This podcast is one of a few that have gotten me through some tough times and terrible nights of insomnia. To add to the list of greats already mentioned:

Robocop with Bill & Kyle Brandt
Wild Things - Van Lathan putting Denise Richard in the White Girl Hall of Game
The Truman Show - Bill, Chris, and a very impressive Glen Powell, who clearly is a huge fan of the podcast
Species - Bill, Chris, and Van; probably the best one ever for a terrible movie

No Country for Old Men with Bill Hader is really good

Hereditary with the holy trinity (Bill, CR, and Sean) is some of their best work

Jaws and Zodiac episodes are great too

Goodfellas is a classic and super long.

I like when they do the good "bad" rewatchable movies. So much comedy. Anything Seagal/Van Damme or 80s Arnie/Sly for instance.

I could listen to Brandt and Bill talk about Seagal for hours. I think they have one "legit" Segal movie left.

The Zodiac pod got me to finally watch the movie. It was one of the classic "I know I shoudl watch it but ..." for me. What an incredible film.

Kyle is incredible and really does his homework. For instance, on this one where Bill talks about best use of razor blades and CR didn't have anything to add and Kyle says "Kevin Spacey using razor blades to cut off his finger tips in Se7en and Paulie using them to cut garlic in Goodfellas." Just great pulls immediately off the top of his head.

The show always delivers but REALLY delivers whenever Kyle is one of the guests.

It is must listening for me on any long drive or when I am exercising and really don't want to be exercising, which is basically every time I exercise.

The mailbag episodes are also really funny.

I think one of the comments on that Instagram post said Kyle should get the lifetime Dion Waters award for the Rewatchables. I have to agree. His pods are a must-listen, and he, too, is obsessed with movies. He also does a great Gus Johnson.

I'm not big on podcasts, but the Rewatchables is great! Only problem is I think they've just about run out of rewatchable movies, at least ones I care about. I usually skip ones I haven't seen or don't really like.

2001 was an exception however. I haven't seen that movie since I was a kid and have very little memory of it. But I listened due to this thread. Spielberg was really interesting. If they get him back for Jaws like they talked about, that would be amazing.

There are quite a few that are left. Hunt for Red October they supposedly will do in October this year. They still haven't done Almost Famous and there are other VERY rewatchable films still left for them to do. For instance, there are a lot of films from the 70's they could do and likely will.

Eventually yes, they will run out unless Hollywood starts churning out some great ones but I'm not going to hold my breath.
