I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I read the books about 5 years ago and the DW production is very good adaptation so far.

That's good to hear. I'm really excited to watch this. It was a great book series, and I enjoyed the author's other works. Especially Patrick and Byzantium.

It's really well done. The bull jumping scenes are amazing and look real. Excellent production & acting.

Yes it's their content that they created in house. They trying to create more entertainment content to compete with other streaming platforms with production companies. I just took a survey from them and it looks like they might be buying rights to other ip to add.

I keep missing these surveys by clicking after 500 people have already responded. I need to be quicker, or they need to send them when I'm not in the middle of a work day!

I have no idea how they plan to make back the money they spent on this series, but it really is well done, and not just well done for a daily wire production.

I missed the first one I got but second one I was checking email when it came in so was on it.

Here is what I remember

A movie that looked like a modern Dirty Harry or Death Wish it looked good. Next was Flags of Our Fathers, We were Soldiers, Bill Engval comedy, & Larry the cable guy. I hope they are getting those IP's or going after similar.

To me, something about this show just felt unfinished and a little bit forced. I did not dislike it, but I don't understand the high praise, and I'm usually a huge fan of this kind of stuff.

The blonde chick who becomes a witch is seriously ****ing hot though. I would watch another season just for her.

I mean, it was a significant budget for an unproven studio. The Dailywire CEO was the producer. This was an ambitious project that did a good job keeping to the source material with nothing but mostly unheralded and unknown actors.

I feel a bit the same way. It only felt unfinished because there is so much more to the source material. This was just the first two books. To me, it felt a bit rushed. But hard to expect much more when they were already pressing the seams of their budget.

My guess is if they can keep it going they would eventually come back and fill in the gaps through flashbacks and what not.
