Wife and I watched last night and enjoyed it.

And when you open your mouth,
You always seem to put your foot there.

We just finished it and I thought it was pretty good! Definitely worth the watch. I pegged one of the bad guys immediately but the other one I missed until nearly the end.

I can't imagine someone risking their life and career to split up $150k with 3 other people per the original phone call from the bad cop….sure $40M…but he originally was told $150k, seems like chump change

I think you missed some dialogue.

Could be, movie barely held my attention.

20 minutes in and I hope they explain why Desi would be stupid enough to let the cops search the house. That is something so stupid I won't be able to get past.

The same reason all cop shows seen to rely on the suspects never asking for a lawyer and instead confessing to the crime…

somehow my Youtube algorithm is now sending me hundreds of true crime police investigations into homicides

and every single time, an intelligent person has to be thinking

"why are the suspects never asking for a lawyer and instead being caught in lies for hours"!!!

Loved it for about 90% of the way, but thought it would have been better if they had kept the movie completely contained within that house and cul-de-sac. The separate chases at the end became cliche action movies and diminished the gritty tension it had built up until that point. Even the scene in the back of that armored police vehicle was great, so maybe if they had ended it in there I would have been satisfied. But otherwise, that's just a minor gripe, and I definitely recommend it.

100% in agreement.

very well acted

but even Affleck and Matt Damon on JRE stated that it sucks that Hollywood has to dumb everything down

that in all their movies they have to restate what is happening like three times

because the viewers are doing their laundry while watching the movie.

That's my wife. She'll get up and walk in the kitchen, go take a leak, whatever...then come back and say "I"m lost. What are they talking about???" She apparently doesn't realize you can pause a show/movie on Netflix.

Wouldn't be very interesting if the suspect says, "I will not answer any questions without my attorney present."

I'm just gonna say I there were 2 obvious tips to what was going on that I caught all by myself in real time. So that was rewarding.

Good to see Glen found work. Haven't seen him since he got his head bashed in with the barbed wire baseball bat.

I suspected Matt Damon's character was a good guy when he told different amounts of the cash to different people. But did not catch that the detective was bad until the end.
