Reminds ... recently finished watching all of Better Call Saul (I think that was the show this happened)... a scene with text on a mobile device or computer screen... thankfully, I could pause... get up off the couch and read it.

Either have the character read the text or sub-title it.

Better call Saul is interesting since it was pre-smart phone.

Add also semi auto guns clicking over and over when out of ammo, the sound effect of a hammer being pulled back every time someone raises a gun, and the trusty old "pumping of the shotgun" after thirty seconds or more of pointing it at them to let someone know you REALLY mean business.

That drives me insane. I always scream, "why didn't you already have one in the chamber??????"

And my wife laughs.

1. When a character just concentrates really hard later in the movie and remembers minute details from something earlier that help them solve a problem. Example- when Harrison Ford remembers the color of the girl's hair in Patriot Games.

2. When someone is on a stakeout or watching a house and they are parked like 30 yards away. The person comes out of the house or store and doesn't notice a car with a person sitting in it staring at them.
