Aiden Ross, an Aggie sophomore and a good young man, will be on The Voice tonight. I won't be surprised if he makes a real go at this singing thing. I would bet that he'll get a pretty quick "chair turn," but we'll see tonight.

I knew I should have put a "not Aiden's dad" disclaimer in the OP.

Unfortunately for my sons, they inherited my musical talent instead of their mom's, so you won't have to worry about seeing them on The Voice or anything similar.

But I have known Aiden for 10-12 years and he's a good kid. And I suspect he'll do really well tonight.

I hope that Jason Castro is out there somewhere watching and cheering him on.

Tune in tonight to watch Aiden kill it again! A berth in the final four is on the line.

Two-part finale tonight and tomorrow night. My family and I have known the outcomes in advance so haven't had to be nervous for Aiden, but now it's live so we'll all find out together.

My understanding is that tonight is some performances and behind the scenes stories, and tomorrow night is decision time.

I think Aiden has a really good shot to win it all, but it won't be easy. He's built a good following on socials which is supposed to help with the fan vote, and I expect him to do great in his final performance.

Regardless of the final outcome of the show, just making it this far has opened up a ton of doors for him. He had a few original songs already in the can, in addition to the one I linked in the OP, which he will likely release soon and another one or two he's close to finishing. He gets to keep the rights to all those regardless of if/when he signs with someone.

What a ride! I thought Aiden would win all along, but Ralph was good competition. It was nerve-wracking watching them announce the winner. So happy for Aiden. Fame will bring its own set of challenges, but he's better equipped than most to handle them.
