Live action as far as we know.

Though I'd be surprised if it's not highly stylized and involved heavy CGI, like Avatar.

And it films in New Zealand, which is a perfect setting.

Based on Zelda's costume, it seems like they might be doing BOTW, although Link looks more like he does in TP.

They could be doing an amalgamation of the series, sort of like Super Mario did.

Tbh I was really hoping they were doing OoT.

We're at the Grand Canyon and when we got to the desert side my son said it looks like Gerudo Valley. He's become a Zelda fan
