Has anyone seen this movie? It's currently streaming on Max, starring Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson. It's the story of a disfigured man who undergoes a procedure to see if he can "fix" his face and the fall out from that. I found this super fascinating and thought that Stan gave an incredible performance- I haven't seen The Apprentice, but I think he should have gotten the Oscar nomination for this. Pearson plays two completely different roles in two completely different ways and does an excellent job.

The movie asks the question of what makes us who we are and are we really capable of changing that. It's a small cast and it's interesting to see how the characters and what you think of them shifts throughout the film. I don't want to say too much as it's really a great watch. I thought it was wonderfully shot as well.

I would highly recommend this.

I watched this a few weeks ago and found it fascinating as well. A very dry comedy that you really have to appreciate the humor. Good film worth the watch.

My favorite part was how he ended up having to be supported by his ex gf and his replacement after getting injured attacking the guy.

The ending was pretty funny/interesting. A few takeaways/questions that I had

- At first I thought that Edward stabbed the physical therapist as a murder/suicide thing because he was in despair about his life, but after thinking about it, I think it was really bc he couldn't take the insult of Oswald's appearance.
- Oswald calls Stan's character "Guy" and "Edward" at the final dinner. Is this him being jokey or him acknowledging that he knows Guy was really Edward. It's up to interpretation, but I took it as he knows he was Edward.
