Fast Fred was a small town dentist who played guitar in a local cover band and went to a lot of concerts during his Baby-Booming formative years, which was a prime time for the dawn of great rock and roll. I don't remember all the bands he saw, but it seems like they included everything from Elvis to the Beatles to Hendrix.
But the cool thing for the long time Entertainment Boarders is that he was a hell of a good writer with a passion for movies and movie reviews. His reviews were professional level, so we pretty much had our own personal Siskel or Ebert during his heyday.
Before the days of Spotify, he was also the ultimate playlist maker. Remember his annual Halloween playlists?
Man, I miss his presence on this board.
