I've loved this show, like almost all of McBride's stuff. But I fear it's one season too many, season 3 wrapped up perfectly. Hope I am wrong, but will definitely be watching.

The first season IS SO GOOD. Walton Goggins as Lee Russell and Baby Billy Freeman are masterful characters.

The flashbacks all through the series of Baby Billy and Aimee Leigh seriously make this show. All the fighting with Gemstone kids has gotten old. I'm way more interested in the tertiary characters (Amber, Aunt Tiff, Jesse's crew).

Here's to hoping season 4 improves a bit.
