Ha that was awesome! Always loved Bob Uecker but I'd never seen that. That was THE BEST deadpan humor I've maybe ever seen. Pretty impressive.

That was great! And nothing screams like 1971/72 than this.

I always loved his quote about catching a knuckleball

I didn't catch it until years later but it still cracks me up every time when he dabs the Jack Daniel's behind his ear during the opening game in Major League.
Major League was one of the first movies I can recall watching over and over again when I was probably around 3rd or 4th grade. It was probably years before I understood this gesture.
Maybe it's the Mandela effect talking but I feel he died like 20 years ago.

Nope. He was alive a couple of days ago. Mandela effect is just proof our memories suck.
I grew up in Milwaukee, he was a legend there. And for all his comic stuff, a great broadcaster. Sad day, big loss for baseball and the city.
