Today was my dad's 70th birthday. To celebrate, we watched a movie from the year he was born - 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

It held up surprisingly well! And he got an absolute kick out of watching a movie he'd grown up with as a kid. Highly recommend trying this as y'alls parents (or you yourself!) hit milestone birthdays.

That's a film I remember from childhood as well (I was born in 1949).

My grandchildren and I watched it together several years ago, and they enjoyed it quite a bit, as did I.
