Regardless, two asterisks is, indeed, automatically disqualifying.

For reference:

"When creating official movie and series threads, proper thread title formatting requires three asterisks to reside on each side of the title itself. Further, a single empty space must be placed between the first three asterisks and the first letter of the title, and then another single empty space must be placed between the last letter of the title and the final three asterisks. While any parenthetical notes or qualifiers are exist to outside of the asterisked area altogether, to the right of the final three asterisks, with another empty space between."
