It's exactly what I expected it to be: Crazy SAS soldiers attacking German air bases a la Inglourious Basterds with a rock and roll soundtrack (mostly AC/DC).

It didn't wow me but it's worth watching, so ignore the "thumbs down" I accidentally gave it. I especially enjoyed Jack O'Connell's portrayal of Paddy Mayne.

Enjoying it so far. Definitely a different feel to it. Read a couple of books about the beginnings of the SAS but it's been so long, I can't remember how the books compared to the show. May have to reread.

OK glad this wasn't a real thumbs down. I've read many books on the SAS and watched a British production that was sort of a docudrama. Looking forward to watching this and I see season 2 is about to drop.
