I read his book Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road a month or two after my daughter passed away. Great book.

Neil was very intelligent guy.

Warner Bros. Taps Aaron Sorkin for Movie About Al Schwimmer, Father of the Israeli Air Force

Sorkin will write the script and potentially direct the project

Aaron Sorkin has signed a deal with Warner Bros. to write and potentially direct a film about the unlikely father of the Israeli Air Force, Al Schwimmer.

The project is based, in part, on "America's Greatest Gift to Israel," an article published in Business Insider and written by David Kushner.

Sorkin's film will be produced by Gotham Group's Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein. It is currently in development.

Fleetwood Mac. It seems like their story is tailor made for a biopic. Nothing but sex, drugs and rock and roll...

The Marquis de Lafayette. As a teenager, he defied his king to assist the Americans during the revolution and was injured in battle. Eventually the king forgave him, and he was instrumental in securing the French support that helped us win the war. Afterwards, he went from being a hero of the French Revolution, to being imprisoned there, back to being a hero, etc. Was incredibly devoted to his wife, who voluntarily joined him in prison. He just lived an incredible life and was a true believer in liberty to the point of risking his life countless times, despite the fact that he was wealthy and powerful enough that he didn't need to get involved. I think it would make an epic film.
Would be a huge fan of this. In the same vein, John Paul Jones deserves a biopic. The Father of the American Navy had a very interesting life, very sadly being largely forgotten by America after the Revolution.

Always thought just a movie about the making of Rumours would be a good movie. All the affairs and turmoil that lead to great music.

I really wanted to see one on Aryton Senna for a long time, and now Netflix just dropped a miniseries, but I'm a bit concerned by the mixed reviews.

Twenty years ago I thought Antonio Banderas would have been the perfect actor to play him.
Have you seen Netflix's Senna documentary from 2011? It was excellent.

I want a biopic on Nigel Mansell. I was much less of a Senna fan during those F1 seasons.

I'm assuming you're cool with showing the racism and savagery of the Texas Rangers?
Of course, compared to the Comanches, that would be laughably mild.

Benny Binion

There have been numerous movies about the whole Vegas Mob connection but the Texas organized crime connection to gambling and Vegas haven't had near the focus. And those stories surrounding that crew (especially Binion) are even wilder, IMO.

You wouldn't be able to see anything in any of the scenes due to all the smoke.

I may have posted this before but excellent and hilarious EVH story…

Worse than the ISIS of the Americas? Obviously not.

The world is better off that the Comanches were wiped out. The Texas Rangers were heroes that selflessly risked their lives to help make that happen.

Racism and savagery make great movies. Watch Drum when you have a chance.

Nicholas Winton. There was a documentary with dramatizations called "Nicky's Family" but I have a feeling there is a lot more to his story.

They just did this one about a year ago. "One Life" starring Anthony Hopkins.
Wow! Winton is one of my top 5 people in history and I had never heard of this movie. Thanks
