Not sure how I feel about this. The ending to season 8 was great then they ruined it with the Interns season.

Center it around Turk and JD's kids preparing for their wedding to one another

Last episode of the season is the wedding and try to bring back as many original cast members as possible as guests

is it a reboot if it has the original cast and picks up years later?

Scrubs is in my top 3 shows of all time, and I have gone through all 8 seasons many times.

This scares me. That god awful med school spinoff already taints an amazing series finale.

Such a great show.

Highly underrated show. I truly can't think of another show that was laugh out loud funny yet could also bring you to tears. One of my favorites.

No idea if this will be any good and odds are against it. But they've earned the right to try.

Yeah, listening to that podcast made me cringe. A show like Scrubs can't be what it was in today's climate.

The blackface flashbacks were funny. As was Turk as Cal Turk:

Braff in particular is pretty political on the podcast, which is a huge turnoff. Faison doesn't seem to care on way or another. I listened to the show religuously during COVID until Braff couldn't stop talking about Biden vs. Trump. I only listen to it occasionally now - using when Sarah Chalke is on.

Pretty much what I already said. Zack and Donald have a podcast where they go back and talk about each episode, and they often have guests from the show. Bill Lawrence was on for the episode where JD was in blackface during some flashbacks. Now remember, it wasn't portrayed as a good thing, he was shown to he ignorant and got his ass kicked for it. Anyway Donald spoke about how he originally thought it was a funny joke (it was) and how later bill had gone back and told him about the history of blackface and how he regretted doing those scenes. So basically a white guy went and ruined a black guys day by telling him what he should and shouldn't be offended by. Is something really offensive if it has to be explained why it is? Idk

Would be cautiously interested. What's probably aged the worst is Dr Cox constantly making fun of JD and calling him a fairy because he liked musical theater or whatever. I bet they'd turn the tables on Cox nowadays.

He also gave JD lots of girls names. If done again, he'd have been pressured into wearing a skirt to the hospital and growing out his hair, +/- growing out a beard (just to prove some weird point) to force "tolerance.". A few episodes would involve bathroom conflicts, of course. And the one where Elliot was upset about women needing their own locker room to change in wouldve resulted in her being cancelled and run out of town. The good news is, the Todd wouldve been allowed to do whatever he wanted to, for fear of anyone questioning his voyeruism resulting in being called intolerant bigots.

Yeah, this show needs to end where it did.
