I know they've had mixed reviews, but I liked his annual drops: House of Usher, Bly Manor, etc... Bummer we havent seen anything coming in '24. Was there a break up with Netflix?

Pretty sure his netflix deal was fulfilled and he's now developing stuff for Prime.

Flanagan has one movie already complete, set for 2025 - the aforementioned The Life of Chuck, starring Tom Hiddleston, which is getting rave reviews - hence why no series this year, and then his Exorcist entry is scheduled for March 13, 2026. So we probably won't see another series from him until 2027 or so, but he has a ton in development/is busier than ever…

Just what we needed, another remake or continuation of The Exorcist.

agreed - the remakes might be exciting for fanboys, but not nearly as interesting to me. i liked the run on Netflix. sounds weird, but while they were all "disturbing" there was some sort of sympathy you got once you knew the whole story. thought that was clever.

The Dark Tower series is one of my all-time favorites and I hope that his version sees the light of day. Hopefully it's also a series or a trilogy of movies. A single movie, as we have seen, cannot do it justice.

I think the issue Flanagan runs into with DT is that like Jackson and LOTR, you essentially have to make it your life for a couple of years.

That's a lot of time commitment.

I thought Invisible Man was pretty fantastic but the finale was kinda meh.

The haunting at hill house and Midnight Mass was incredible(especially the epilogue). I hope he does more tv series like that.

What would y'all love to see a limited series done by him? The talisman would be awesome.
