alright, so i know that The Grateful Dead aren't held in the highest of regard in this community, i do encourage you to listen to Phil's driving bass in this version of The Other One from the Fillmore West on 3/2/69........this will give you a sense for his ability and awareness to lead and guide a song with the thunder that he so perfectly called down........

Ive never listened to the GD before but this was great! I'm not what you would call a music guy but it reminded me of the Allman Brothers, which I really enjoy

Thanks for posting! I'm going to dig into their catalogue. Love discovering new to me music
